We usually harp on the firearms industry for its lack of hashtag#innovation, but do you understand why we don't see breakthrough technologies every day?

Innovation is difficult to achieve and even more expensive to execute. And in an industry where it's often easier to produce form over function and more profitable to be second or third to market, why spend time thinking outside the box, money on new R&D, and energy on manufacturing an unknown?

That said, when I see something truly new and innovative, it gets my juices flowing. I don't know if this new concept of electronic scopeswitch rapid zoom system is any good or if it's even the future of optic technology, but I do know it's innovative. And for that alone, it should be applauded.
